Let The Midnight Special Shine It's Ever Lovin' Light On Odetta. Requiescat en Pacem

Legend tells that John Lomax and Leadbelly went out to dinner with their wives and were refused entry at a restaurant because they were an inter-racial party. This event inspired the song and happened just before Leadbelly recorded at the Library of Congress.
